Canadian Croatian Chamber of Commerce is excited to present Business After Hours, an interactive event with Co-Host “Ivana Cvitanusic, at “Ernst & Young (EY) Calgary office.
The Ernst & Young (EY) Calgary office, a key location for the global “Big Four” professional services firm, is strategically positioned in the Calgary City Centre to serve clients across Western Canada, particularly those in the Energy & Resources sector, a cornerstone of the region’s economy. EY Calgary delivers a full suite of services, including Assurance, Consulting, Strategy and Transactions, and Tax, helping businesses navigate complex challenges in a rapidly evolving market, with an increasing focus on areas like digital transformation, sustainability, and artificial intelligence. Furthermore, the Calgary office has cemented its importance within the firm’s network by establishing a Canadian Finance Centre of Excellence in the city, the only centre of its kind amongst the Big Four network, underscoring its commitment to local talent development and its role as a regional hub for specialized internal services.
In a world that’s changing faster than ever, our purpose acts as our North Star, guiding our 400,000 people — providing the context and meaning for the work we do every day. We help digital pioneers fight data piracy; guide governments through cash-flow crises; unlock new medical treatments with data analytics; and pursue high quality audits to build trust in financial markets and business. And now we’ve unified all our artificial intelligence (AI) innovation and development efforts under one platform, EY.ai, to help enable clients to efficiently access the benefits of AI. It is also intended to increase transparency, trust, and confidence in AI as EY seeks to use these new capabilities to serve the broader interests of society and contribute to a more inclusive, equitable future.
Through our four integrated service lines — Assurance, Consulting, Strategy and Transactions, and Tax — and our deep sector knowledge, we help our clients to capitalize on new opportunities and assess and manage risk to deliver responsible growth. Our high-performing, multidisciplinary teams help them fulfill regulatory requirements, keep investors informed and meet stakeholder needs.
EY is proud to recognize and celebrate the achievements of entrepreneurs through our EY Entrepreneur of the Year program. The program has existed for three decades in Canada, shining a spotlight on thousands of visionary entrepreneurs who are changing what’s possible for Canada and the world. It aims to support entrepreneurships for all, not just today or tomorrow, but for the next century and beyond. The program encourages individuals and companies to turn groundbreaking ideas into innovative businesses, celebrating success with their teams and inspiring the next generation of entrepreneurs. The program works in tandem with other initiatives like the EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women™ and Entrepreneurs Access Network to support businesses in growing, scaling, and navigating ever evolving challenges, while fostering an equitable and inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem.
We believe a better working world is one where economic growth is sustainable and inclusive. We work continuously to improve the quality of all our services, investing in our people and innovation. And we’re proud to work with others – from our clients to wider stakeholders – to use our knowledge, skills and experience to help fulfill our purpose and create positive change.
Enabled by data, AI and advanced technology, EY teams help clients shape the future with confidence and develop answers for the most pressing issues of today and tomorrow. Together. All in. Learn more.
